I made these photos at Lookout Point on the Natchez Trace Parkway a short distance from the Meriwether Lewis National Park. This location is in Lewis County, Tennessee. Lewis County was named in Honor of Meriwether Lewis, leader of the Lewis and Clark Expedition. Lewis died at Grinders Stand here in Lewis County and his remains are buried beneath the Meriwether Lewis Monument. This location is only a few miles from Hohenwald, Tennessee.
