These pictures are all taken within a few yards of our rain gauge MD-PG-49 near the bank of the Potomac River.
The magnolia blossom looks quite good, but the tree is suffering from drought and would normally be FULL of blossoms. The crepe myrtle is either THRIVING under drought conditions, or overcompensating by shooting for the stars.
