Photo taken on 9/2/12. This photo shows one of the Japanese Maples next to our garden pond, same location as above, looking north. I marked the spot where I stood to take it so I can re-shoot the scene from the same position in the future, if you undertake this project again. I'll send two more close-ups of close ups of plants in a second email, since that's what I've been monitoring all summer and have been very concerned about. I've never seen so many different kinds of plants so stressed --by so many different growing extremes, in any garden year that I can remember.
