Photos from Peaceful Waters Sanctuary. I had hoped to enter the wetlands for this exercise but apparently it is still too wet and dangerous and the entrance was locked. These photos are the best I could do for today. I saw dead rotting fish throughout the park as I walked to the wetlands. We are recovering from Hurricane Isaac; I had approx 9.75"" of rain in my gauge for 8/27-28/12. Our neighborhood was flooded and we couldn't get out unless you had a truck or other high vehicle. There was over 1' standing water in the street. Schools were closed for 2 days. CoCoRaHs Station: FL-PB-20.
