Elevation 4084 feet. 100 yards up river from Dillon Falls on the Deschutes River. Note the remaining snow on the peak seems about normal although we think it's been a cool summer. River flow appears normal for this time of year. Brown grass and dry powdery soil is also expected this time of year. Mosquitoes still active. CoCoRaHs Station: OR-DS-29. Photo taken on 9/2/12.
