These photos are from Yates Mill, a county park about 5 miles south of Raleigh NC. This mill and dam dates from the 1760s. They were taken on the afternoon on September 2. The Yates Mill 2 Raleigh 2012-09-02 was taken at the top of the dam and shows how far below the top of the dam the water is. Water normally flows over the top of the dam.
