Location: Parking lot at Sunnyside Wildlife Area.
Intersection of Midvale Rd and McGee Rd. CoCoRaHS station # Wa-Yk-6. The view is to the east. The picture was taken on the west bank of the Sulpher Creek Wasteway.
The area is a collection of small agricultural fields, interspersed with diverse habitats. Six ponds of varying size with evidence of old river oxbows are in the area. Vegegation ranges from wetland species to upland perennial grasses and forbs to mature reparian woodlands. Russian olives have been invading for years.
