The pictures I am sending were taken on Lake Rd in Lacombe La. Wish I would have known about this project as I would have taken a different camera with me. "
My area had 5.71 inches of rain on August 29, 3.58 on August 30 and .62 on August 30. This was under the 15 inches of rain that was forecast for Isaac. For a storm that was a cat 1 it sure did push a ton of water into the coastlines and very far inland. In some cases (Laplace La) the water has never been in this area.
