This photo is at Cocorahs Station Number NH-HL-49. This man-made, spring-fed pond is always low at the end of August, but this year it is 1 or 2 feet lower than usual. (When full it's about 8 deep deep in the middle below the overflow pipe.) It has not been this low for many years, if ever. However, we have had enough rain in the past month or so that the vegetation is green; no drought signs there. Photo taken on 9/2/12.
