"Standing on dam at Saylorville Lake, Polk City, Ia. Lake level is about 5' below normal pool and the Army Corp is letting more water out than is coming in. Sailboats with deeper keels are already being pulled out because the water level at the ramp is about 7' and falling. Draft of the larger boats is 6'6"". This is the first time in all of our memories that we had to pull boats out early due to lack of water. The grass in the first 3 pictures is normally under water. The island in the river channel in the last picture is normally not visible.
