"Photos taken 9-2-2012 on the SW corner of my property (CoCoRaHS Station- TX-SM-11). These show the results that are now happening after last year's extreme heat & drought in eastern Texas. Earlier this year several trees (both hardwood & pines with green leaves along with several dead branches fell down during one the of spring wind/rain storms. These trees which I call ""1 year later-dying trees"" show what is now happening to the trees even though there has been rain this year and cooler temperatures.
All of these trees are mature hardwoods (oaks & maples) that are at least 50 feet tall."
