We have had been warmer than normal this summer, and have had lower than normal rain, but are NOT in drought.
We also had a very early spring warmup.
- fields of soybeans and corn, showing yellowing 2-4 weeks earlier than normal, but with good yields
The streams are definitely low, but still flowing.
Although we are not in drought, we are seeing affects from the warmth and dryness - mostly on crops and lawns, but also some on early leaf shed by trees. But we don't have it nearly as bad as many folks do."
